A generous donation of three lakhs was made.

The accidental death insurance amount of three lakh rupees, granted to Kalamthi Totassery Suhara, a shareholder in EMS Memorial Cooperative Hospital, was handed over to EMS Memorial Charitable Medical Trust. Suhara's heirs and sons, Muhammad Naseer KT and Nisar Ahmed, made the handover. The trust, affiliated with the hospital, operates a dialysis center equipped with 20 dialysis machines, providing affordable dialysis treatment to numerous patients. The trust was established by former MP Mr. A. Vijayaraghavan as Chairman and Mr. PP. Vasudevan as Honorary Secretary, with the noble objective of supporting economically disadvantaged patients. The trust collaborates with various cooperatives, shareholders, and well-wishers. The donation was received by Mr. TK Karunakaran, a member and trustee of the hospital management committee. Hospital General Manager Mr. M. Abdulnasir, Chief Administrative Officer Jimmy Katati, and Share and Insurance Department Incharge Mrs. K. Indira were present during the ceremony.
